Travel Tips & Best Time to Visit

The Similan Islands are open to visitors only from November to May. From June to October, the national park is closed for conservation and to protect marine life during the monsoon season.

How to Get There:

  • Speedboats and yachts depart from Phang Nga and Phuket, taking around 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the islands.
  • Travelers can choose between day trips (morning departure, evening return) or liveaboard diving trips (overnight stays on dive boats).
